<a href="#comment-1228" rel="nofollow">@Mihai Parparita </a>

this is going to sound dumb but i hate bookmarks. they take up real estate in my browser window and they require me to be using a specific computer to work. i'm too cloudy to deal with something that requires a specific machine.

i like jonathan's option. i'm testing it out now to see how it works. it might be a good hack for others though. perhaps it might be useful in developing other services for google reader.

all in all i think you guys are doing an awesome job. i would lament about such things if i didn't love the service.

I don't use Google Reader, but it reads RSS/Atom feeds, right?

I don't actually use Twitter much either, but I bet there's a way to make an RSS feed from your twitter. If you can figure out how to make an RSS feed from your twitter posts which include a certain tag, subscribe to it in Google Reader, and you're done!

RSS/Atom feeds are pretty awesome for building 'mash ups', such a simple thing, so powerful. (I sometimes take RSS feeds from Craigslist searches for something I'm interested in, feed it to an RSS-to-email service, now I've got email alerts from craigslist even though craigslist doens't support that directly. Neat!)

I think I just figured it out for you. This feed will include any posts from rosy1280 (that's you, right?) that include the hashtag #publish. So any tweet you send including #publish will be in this feed. Subscribe to it in Reader, done!

Hi Rosalyn,

Have you tried our "Note in Reader" bookmarklet? You can find at the top right of the "Your stuff" page (http://www.google.com/reader/view/user/-/state/com.google/self). Once you drag it to your browser's bookmarks toolbar, when you're on a webpage that you want to share in Reader, you just press it.
